About The Event
Hicks UMC will begin our 7th year and 13th season of our popular Elementary Groups on Sunday, September 22nd!
We offer two Elementary Groups: “Friends ‘n Faith” Elementary Girls Ministry and “Champions 4 Christ” Elementary Boys Ministry. Friends ‘n Faith Girls Ministry is open to all girls in the community in grades 3rd-6th and Champions 4 Christ is open to all boys in grades 1st-6th. Both groups meet once a month on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm in the Social Hall of Hicks UMC.
The purpose of our Elementary Groups is to provide an environment where God’s love is taught and positive encouragement is given. Our Leadership Team is passionate about reaching all children in the community, no matter what their faith background might be, about God’s love and to help them discover how to incorporate their emerging faith into their everyday lives. We do this through interactive lessons, games, crafts, and themed activities as they learn to follow Jesus and share His love with others. Growing up in today’s world can be tough, but God never meant for our children to feel alone in their journey.
