Hicks Youth Fellowship

HYF provides a place for students, grades 6-12, to come together, learn, and grow in their faith. It offers a safe environment for students to have fun and be themselves.

Throughout the year, HYF gives students opportunities to serve God by serving their community, church, and world. Several events include raising money to fight world hunger, painting houses, and helping others in the community.

There are also several opportunities for students to grow in their faith through worship, musical events, and retreats. We are active in the UMC camping activities, and we provide opportunities to go to events such as Purple Door Music Festival and wilderness retreats.

Meeting Times:

• 6th-8th grades meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
• 9th-12th grades meet on Sundays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

Regular weekly meetings run from the first Sunday after Labor Day until about the middle of May. There is also an extended break around Christmas and New Years.
