Kids are important to God and important to us. We strive to make young believers and disciples in this new generation. Belief is never forced but it is nurtured through good Bible teaching, fun activities, and a safe and loving community. Here are some kid-friendly opportunities:
- Sunday School – we offer a nursery, preschool and kindergarten, and classes for grades 1-6. We have dedicated teaches who teach creative lessons. Sunday School is every week at 9:30am in the downstairs of the main building.
- Children’s Church – Children’s Church happens at our 10:45am Contemporary Service. The kids begin worship at the adult service for singing and sharing. We have a children’s message every week and following the message, children ages 3-7 are invited to go downstairs for a time of bible lesson, craft, and healthy snack.
- Young Believers - our Wednesday evening kids program meets at 6:30 in the social hall for an hour of fun, learning, and fellowship. It’s youth group for elementary age kids.
- Vacation Bible School – we have a week of vbs every year at Hicks. We use the exciting curriculum by Group Publishers and turn our campus into bible school central. Online registration will be available. Stay tuned for more information on VBS 2010.
